Making Hats for Approaching Season

Woodland Hat 
made with the wet felting technique
using merino wool.

Merino wool used in the wet felt technique,
overlayed with embroidered mesh fabric.

 

A look at part of the wet felting process,
here, wool roving has been laid out in desired shape
then warm water and soap applied and pressed into wool,
and so, felting begins.
